May Long Weekend 

My daughter was off to Brownie camp Saturday Morning to Sunday afternoon!  It was great to have a night off!!  I only get about one night off A YEAR!!!  Last year she was year she did the same camp but was in Sparks!  So I went to have a nice night with my Mom!!  We were able to get some shopping done and I was able to get a few good deals!!

- Colgate Toothbrush (Reg. $2.99) on sale for $1.50 - $1.00 coupon = PAID $0.50

Don't Shop with Kids!!!

I had my lists, flyers, coupons and a mission and it FAILED!! My daughter would not be quiet, she fought with me and I had to put her for TWO time outs in the store!! This is just ridiculous!! I had a list and barely got half of what I needed!! Tomorrow evening a friend and I are going to run out and get some things that are needed while our girls are at Brownies!! Hopefully, tomorrow will go better :(

First Blog Attempt!

This is my first ever attempt at a blog! I guess I should start off introducing myself!

Hi! I am Julie! I am a single Stay at Home Mom to a beautiful 7 yr old daughter. Life has thrown us quite a few curve balls but we are trying to work through them! And I guess this page is a start!

I will probably post about things that are on my mind, special things about my daughter and about my attempts at saving money! I recently started watching TLC's Extreme Couponing. I know here in Canada we can't get those crazy deals when buying $1,000 worth of food and saving 99% of it! I wish! But I have gotten lucky with some good deals and a few free products. 

I am also addicted to 2 blogs that post about special deals and coupons!!
